How is a cell phone charging station used?

Rental power banks allow users to rent and return them at different locations, providing on-demand mobile charging services that solve the problem of battery anxiety when people are on the go.
Phone charging lockers, widely available in malls, restaurants, cafes, train stations, airports, and other public places, bring convenience to people’s daily lives and travels.

1. How to Find Power Bank Station Nearby?

When a user’s phone is running low on battery and needs to be charged urgently, the first step is to locate a nearby phone charging station. Most mobile charging station brands have their own apps or mini-programs that allow users to quickly search for nearby power bank vending machine locations.

By opening the app or mini-program and tapping the “Nearby Devices” button, the system will instantly display all available charging station locations nearby. Simply click the navigation button to easily guide the user to the closest location.

2. What Are the Rental Methods for Power Banks?

Using a power bank rental station is convenient, with five flexible rental methods to choose from:

  • NFC: Apple Pay / Google Pay / Samsung Pay
  • Tap your card / Insert your card
  • Scan QR code with camera
  • Scan QR code with APP
  • Pay with payment code

Users can choose based on their own habits, and renting a shared power bank only takes a few simple steps.

NFC: Apple Pay / Google Pay / Samsung Pay

For smartphones that support NFC, users can rent by using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay linked to their bank cards.Place the back of your phone near the NFC sensor area on the device—usually marked with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or an NFC icon. Your phone will detect the device and launch the appropriate payment service.

After payment is completed, the locker will automatically release the power bank.Power bank sharing devices typically have universal interfaces—simply connect the appropriate cable to your phone and charging begins.

Renting directly with Apple Pay / Google Pay / Samsung Pay streamlines the process, letting users use their preferred e-wallets for quick and convenient access.

Tap Your Card / Insert Your Card

Find the card reader or chip slot on the machine. Users can simply tap or insert their card—no phone required. This method uses pre-authorized charges, and the actual amount will be settled after the power bank is returned.

Card rental doesn’t require complex verification steps, making it especially useful if your phone is out of battery.Whether you’re in a busy business district, shopping mall, or popular tourist spot, cell phone charging stations make it easy to rent on the go.Mobile phone charging stations allow users to rent across different locations freely and conveniently.

Scan QR Code with Camera

Open your phone’s default camera app and scan the QR code on the power bank rental device.Wait for your phone to recognize it, then follow the on-screen prompts to complete the rental process.

No app download is required—fast and convenient—meeting the power needs of various electronic devices with ease.

Scan QR Code with APP

Users can search and download the brand’s power bank rental app, such as “ChargeNow,” from the App Store or Google Play. After installation, log in using email, Google, Facebook, or phone number and complete the rental process through the app.

Once logged in, search for nearby rental locations or allow the app to locate the nearest fast charging power bank station. The map will provide accurate address information and navigation.

The map also shows each station’s status—whether power banks are available or not—so users can choose the most suitable one.

Find the phone charging station, open the app, scan the QR code on the locker, and enter the rental page. After payment, the machine will release or unlock the power bank—ready to charge your phone.

Pay with Payment Code

In Southeast Asia, digital wallets are the mainstream payment method.Payment code rentals are designed specifically for users in this region.

Users do not need to download an app. Simply open their e-wallet, generate a dynamic payment QR code, and scan it using the station’s scanner. After confirming the transaction, the rental is complete.

3. Take Out the Power Bank and Charge Your Phone

Once the rental information is confirmed, tap the “Rent” button on the screen. A fully charged power bank will automatically pop out or unlock. After taking out the power bank, select the cable that matches your phone’s charging port and start charging.

Power bank stations are usually equipped with multiple charging cables, such as Type-C, Micro USB, and Lightning, to accommodate different types of phones and electronic devices.

4. Return the Power Bank and End the Rental

After charging your phone, return the power bank to the correct brand’s locker. For example, if the power bank was rented from Bajie Charging, use the app to find the nearest Bajie Charging return station.

When inserting or removing a power bank, sensors send signals to the control system for billing and management.

To return the device, simply insert the power bank back into the appropriate slot. The system will automatically record the return and update the user’s rental status.Once returned successfully, the system will notify the user and stop billing.

Before returning, make sure to neatly place the three charging cables back in place. Then insert the power bank into the slot—the machine will announce “Return Successful,” deduct the rental fee, close the order, and the user is free to leave.

Most power bank charging station brands have a time limit for the latest return. If the power bank is not returned within the allowed time, additional fees or deposit deductions may apply. Before renting, users can check the pricing details and make sure to return the power bank within the specified time.
